Hi all, I was walking in the woods behind the church the other night with Hound, and I tripped on something. It turned out to be a mug. The weird part is that it had a name written on the bottom, but I'd never heard of her before. Does anyone know who this woman is? And why it might've been behind the church?

You should have left it where you found it.
Jerome, can you be more specific about the location? Was it before or after the second trail marker? The land past the marker is a different part of the property and there is a real difference between the two spots. Please be precise.
Also — is the mug still with you right now?
Brickbrack_Crick — what do you mean by that? It's a ceramic mug. Should I be concerned?
Todd — it was past the second marker, I think. I'm not fully sure of the property situation out there. The mug is at my house right now, sitting on my kitchen table. I was going to bring it by the post office this week.
Why won't anyone just tell me whose name is on it? I've gotten three private messages since posting this telling me not to leave it online. What am I missing?

Jerome, please return the mug. Take it back to exactly where you found it, in the leaves, same position. Do not leave it at Todd's. Do not keep it in your kitchen. This is not a strange request and you will understand it when you have lived here long enough.

I've had it for four days. The last two nights I've heard something on the front porch. I live alone. I went out both times and nothing was there but the porch light was off both times and it was on when I went to bed.
I'm going to take it back tomorrow morning. First thing.
One question, and I need someone to actually answer it: is the name on the mug Blythe?
